"COTTAGES AND CASTLES." "Cottages and Castles" is the title of the new programme to be eivcn by Joan »»d Betty Rayner at the Radiant Hall nest Friday at 8.15 p.m., and at *a mminee only «a Saturday at 2.30 p.m. There will be no performance on Saturday evening. The "Otago Daily Times" said of this performance: "Once again Joan and Betty Rayner, . the young T-O-Y players, have thoroughly eaptirated a large Dunedin audience with another altogether charming programme. It is. perhaps, the delightful contrast with the modern style of entertainment, their utter simplicity and their supreme mastery of gesture, deportment, and exprcsu n creating on atmosphere that depends largely on imagination, that ha# contributed so greatly to their success. T«ic trti® Ernest Sboppstd effect was achieved in the simple eostuming of 'King Hilary and the Beggarman,' and 'King John's Christ- ,®»«. both by A. A. Milne, and the interpretations of these numbers was a really marvellous piece oC work that would surely oare earned commendation from the author himself, so artistically were the characters revealed.
