BENEFIT CONCERT.
The Royal Christchurch Musical Society will perform the "Messiah" to-night in the Civic Theatre in' aid of the Mayor s Unemployment Distress Fund. The sQloists choßen are Miss Gladys BrookS (soprano), Madsine Ann Harper (contralto), Mr Ernest Rogsrs (tenor), and the Bev. L. A. North (bass). .A full chowiß and orchestra will take part, and the admission has been fixed at very low prices. •
