LAYKOLD CUP RACE. (FRESa 4BBOCUTIOK TELEGRAM A WELLINGTON, December 14.. In winning the Laykold Cup. a mile handicap, at Petone on Saturday, P. N. Robinson, the leading "Wellington amateur cyclist, rode as fina a race as has been seen here for a long time. The field included a number of the best cyclists in Christchurch, Wellington, and Masterton, but Robinson ivas a match for them in riding and tactics, and won by half a longth from T. O'Brien and F, Grose, both of Christchurch.
