—- CANADA'S TENTATIVE PROPOSALS. (UNITED PHKBS ASSOCIATION—BS ELECTRIC TE&EGBAPH—COPYRIGHT.) OTTAWA, December 11. Tentative Canadian proposals for the New Zealand trade treaty include butter, under an arrangement similar to that with Australia. Canada is prepared to ' place a duty on foreign, lemons and raw wool to give New Zealand the advantage. She is particularly anxious to sell in Teturn motor-cars, rubber, Newsprint, and canned - vegetables.
