+ CHAMPIONSHIPS IN VICTORIA. CRAWFORD WINS SINGLES. (ITNITKD HiKSS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC ■rrXEGHAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (Received December 13th, 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, December 13. Tho tennis championships were concluded. Crawford, by defeating Hoprnan 7-5, 0-C, C-3, 6-1, won the singles title. Crawford j)layed his best game and placed shots with an amazing command. In tho men's doubles championship Patterson and Hopman beat Ttirnbull and Quist, 2-6, 7-5, 8-G, C-2. Women's Singles Chairinionship—-Mrs A. Robertson beat Miss Le Messurier, 6-2, 0-1. Mixed Doubles Championship—Crawford and Mrs Crawford beat Hopman and Miss Hall, 8-G, G-8, 6-1. CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT. The (k'.te for receiving entries for the Christmas championship and handicap lawn tennis tournament has been extended until to-morrow. All tho events, including handicaps, will be played on tho grass courts at Wilding I'ark. and it is expected that the entry wilt bo a largo and representative one. Tho events for boys and girls under 18 years o£ ago aro attracting good entries.
