CHRISTCHURCH MALE VOICE CHOIR.
- ——♦ To-morrow .evening, in the Civic Theatre, the Christcburch Male Voice Choir, under Dr. J, C. Bradshaw, will complete another very successful season in the presentation of its final programme. The programme will "be made up of request items, each number having been selected by patrons of the last concert from the Society's repertoire. _ With the assistance of the Cathedral Choristers, the choir will sing "The Londonderry Air,' ' 'Land of Hope and Glory" (Elgar), "Sheunandoah" (chanty), "The Farmers Daughter" (arr. Gerrard Williams), and "The Bells of St. Michael's Tower' (Stewart). The men of the choir will sing "The Long Day Closes" (Sullivan), "The Herald" (Elgar), "Drink to Me Only' (arr. by Coleman), while the boys alone will sing "The Bells of Aberdovey" (Welsh melody) and "Hark, Hark, the Lark (Schubert), with Master A... E. Berry as solist. Miss Lilian Hanham, the assisting artist, will be heard in "Polonaise" (Mignon) and a bracket of three numbers by Grief?. Soloists from tlio choir will be Mr H. Blakeley (tenor), who will sing All Hail, Thou Dwelling." from Gounod s "Faust," and Mr W. J. Richardson (bass) in "Five and Twenty Sailormen," r>y Coleridge-Taylor. Miss Ailcen Warren will act as accompanist. . . The box plan is at Tho Bristol, . tickets heincr available for all parts of the tneatre at 2s each.
