Gray 1, E. Pyke 2. Time, lmin 25 l-ssec. Gray got tho lead after one falso start. Wicks was closely behind, but crashed at the beginning of the second lap, leaving Gray an easy winner. Final. Gray . . . . 1. Ijiinn . . . . , . 2 Oakley . . . . 3 Time, lmin 25 4-ssce. Lunn shot to the front from tho start and led for nearly two laps, with Gray closo behind. Then Lunn got a bad slide, but recovered with a superb effort. It lost him a lot of ground, however, and Gray snatched the lead at, the beginning of the third lap and finished just ahead of Lunn.
