The police raided the offices of ''An Problacht," the organ of the Irish revolutionary movement, and seized all copies. Newsboys carrying placards bearing the words "We Won't Yield," sold papers in the street this morning, but supplies were commandeered. The raid followed the new Public Safety Act, which prohibits the publication of any newspaper on behalf of an illegal organisation, the penalties including forfeiture of the machinery and such other punishment "as a military tribunal thinks proper to inflict."
