Work on the west track between Hereford street and Cashel street was commenced on Thursday, September 10th, and this portion was excavated and rails placed in position ready for concreting on Saturday, September 12th. If the weather had remained fine, the whole of the "in" track would have been completed on Saturday, September 12th.
