PIONEER SPORTS CLUB.
RELIABILITY TRIAL. On Saturday, next the Pioneer Sports Club will hold a non-stop social reliability trial for light car 3 and pillionists. Starting from the club-house at 2 p.m the route will be via Sumner and Lyttelton, to Governor's Bay, where a control, will be installed, opposite the hotel. A. stop of 45 minutes.' will be: made hore. - The homeward journey will he over the same route. There will be a timeclimb on the outward journey from the foot of Kvans Pass to the top, motor-cycles. being allowed eight minutes and cars ten ininutes to climb the hill. The penalty foi failure is half a mark per second under 01 over schedulo time for both cycles'and cars..* The time schedule for the journey is: Club-house to Evans Pass, cycles 80. minutes; cars 82 minutes; Evans Pass to Governor's Bay, cycles 20 minutes, cars 23 minute-) There is a penalty of two marks per la seconds or fraction thereof for. trade, cars under .cr over schedule time, and two marks per 30 seconds for private owners. _ No personal stops other than at controls will be allowed. Certificates will be awarded those live marks within ihe winner's score.
