WORLD COURT DECISION.
SEVEN JUDGES DISSENT. (UKITIID PRESS ASSOCIATION—!)? EtEClHlt) TEr.EaR/u'ii^-aOpriUGiit.) THE HAGUE, September 5. The Permanent Ctourt of International Justice decided by eight votes to seven that the proposed Customs Union between Austria and Germany was hot compatible with the provisions of the Geneva Protocol of 1022, by which certain powers provided financial assistance to Austria. Of tho eight judges who gave an opinion, seven also declared that in tfieir view such a union would likewise be Incompatible with Article 88 of tho Treaty Of St. Germain. Seven judges signed a joint dissenting opinion to the effect that the Customs Union Would ire compatible with Article 88 of tho treaty of St. Germain and the Geneva Protocol.
