YESTERDAY'S TRANSACTIONS.

Market conditions showed no change on call yesterday, and recorded dealings which were confined to a few stocks, were small. Transactions, exclusive of vestibule business, included:— 400 Commercial Bank of Australia. 200 New Zealand Itefrigerating (10s paid). 100 New Zealand Breweries. 100 Tooths Brewery. 100 Mt. Lyell. GOO Cornish Point. 300 King Solomon. 1300 Mahakipawa. 900 Golden Point (Is paid). Sellers of New Zealand Government 44 per cent, tax free Stock, due 1938. uinio down to £96 10s, buyers at £93 10s. Commercial Bank of Australia shares were firm with dealings at 13s 4d, closing quotations Id on either side. Buyers of Bank of Now South Wales shares moved up to £24 ss, sellers at £25. Miscellaneous. Kellers of Goldsbrough, Morfcs reduced their limits to 19s, buyers at 18s lOd. New Zealand Refrigerating 10s paid shares relapsed to 3s Bd, market closing 3s (id buyers, 3s 9d sellers. New Zealand Breweries shares moved up to 28s lid, buyers staying in at that figure', sellers at 29s 3d. Tooths Brewery sfiares were firm ab 17s 3d, and fciiero were further sellers at that price, buyers at 17s Id. Beath and Company preference shares wore stronger, with buyers at 20s, sellers at 20s 3d. Mt. Lyclls bad business at 16s lid, market closing Id either way. Cornish Point Gold Mining shares were firm at 7d, market closing 6d buyers, 8d sellers. King Solomons remained at 2s 9d, and there were further sellers at that figure, buyors at 2s Bd. Mahakipawa Goldfields sharos changed hands at 3d and 7-Jd, buyers staying in at the lower figure, sellers at Bd. Golden Point Is paid shares had dealings at Is 24<1 and Is 3d.
