The hills around the harbour are now well saturated and large waterfalls could be seen descending into the sea in the vicinity of Diamond Harbour end Church Bay. A fresh fall of enow covered the upper slopes of Mt. Herbert. Golf. In Uits round of the junior cliampionsliii the Diamond Harbour Golf Club on Saturday, W. C. Cleary beat H. Beck 4 and 2. The draw for the third round is as follows: —W. C. Cleary plays E Budkin, T. Armstrong plays the winner of L. Blewett and T. Archer, A. Jackson plays 8., H. Gil—monr, W." Maxwell plays the winner of B. Moore and H. Wales. The draw for the second round of the senior championship is as follows: —"Winner of L. Gant-W. Paton plays P. Barnard, N. Thompson plays Q.
