| JUMBLE SALE. A JunibJe Sale will be held in Holy Trinity Schoolrtom to-night in aid of the Spring Flower Show. i Cycling. | The Lyttelton Cycling Club will hold an open cash road race from Lyttelton to Teddington and back to-morrow afternoon, a distance of 24 miles. In addition to local riders a large number of riders from other clubs is expected to participate in the race. I Harbour Light Theatre. j "Tol'able David," a drama of a mountain feud starring Richard Cromwell and Noah Beery will be repeated at the Harbour Light Theatre to-night j together with a comedy, cartoon "Guri- ' ositics," and a specialty. To-morrow "The Squeaker," a British mystery drama from the story by Edgar Wallace, will be screened. Percy Marmont and Trilby Clark are the stars. There is a good supporting programme. 9 The Weather. Heavy rain which fell in the early hours of yesterday morning, with a light shower or two later in the morning, will ' be most welcome to gardeners in the port, as sowing and planting have been in full swing for the past week or two. Although line the weather became much colder yesterday afternoon and there was a light frost last night.
