Dyer, when asking in the Magistrate's Court today for a remand in the ease in which George llenry Ellis, aged 23, a mechanic, of Wellington, was charged with obtaining four gallons of petrol in Masterton by representing that he was employed by u Wellington service station. Sergeant Dyer said the accused had made a statement regard.Tig his movements in Wellington, which the police wished to verify. Ellis, who was arrested on the arrival of a service car at Fentherston from Wellington on Tuesday morning, was remanded to appear at Masterton on August 19th.
