ODDFELLOWSHIP.
After the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Christchureh Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., on Monday the members were entertained by P.Of. Bro. Walter Langford. In proposing the health of the host of the evening, Bro. T. J. Archbold, D.G.M., spoke of the good work done by Bro. Langford in the 50 years he has been a member of the Order. He also remarked that it was now 4» years since Bro. Langford had occupied the chairs, and for the last 30 years he had been a trustee of the Lodge. In conclusion he congratulated Bro. Langford on reaching his 82nd birthday, and hoped he would continue in good health and take an active part in Oddfellowship. Bro. Langford's response proved very interesting. He concluded by stating that he was very pleased to be present among the members, and hoped to see many more fraternal gatherings. Items were given by Messrs Laureuson and Dalzell (recitations), Mr K. Stevens (humorous songs), and Bros. W. East and is. Carson (banjo and piano).
