The United Party conference passed a resolution that the Government be urged to I<reat the wheat and flour duties as' a non-Party question. The work of the executive was commended, and motions were passed eulogising the services of the chairman, Mr 3p- 33- Hammond, the Dominion organiser, Mr T. Buxton, and the Dominion secretary, Mr J. A. Shand.
