WOLSELEY "HORNET" SUCCESS.
SILVER OUP AND GOLD MEDAL. AUCKLAND RELIABILITY TRIALS. The Auckland Reliability Trials of last month enabled the Wolseley "Hornet" to conclusively and decisively establish in this country a claim to mechanical stamina, engine performance, and economical operation that merits careful consideration by every motorist. ' Forty-six cars competed over 150 miles of North Auckland roads, and the result was a clear win, by 23 points, for the six-cylinder "Wolseley "Hornet," which secured 995 points out of the possible 1000, and was awarded the Silver Gup for first place. In the petrol consumption test, calculated on a power weight basis, the Wolseley "Hornet" in class B, open for cars between 1000 and 2000 CO, also secured highest marks (which were higher than any other car irrespective of class) and the Gold Medal. Actual mileage was 49.5 to the gallon. Only one Wolseley "Hornet" participated in the Trials. The Wolseley "Hornet" is a 6-cy Under small car, but not so small as to fee tiny. The 4-door Sedan has full leg 'ro6m and ample accommodation for four adults.
