Exception was taken to the number of inspectors travelling up and down the country, and the fol-. lowing resolution was moved by Mr W. Jeffries, seconded by Mr Duff, and carried unanimously:-—"That the attention of the Government be drawn to the apparent unnecessary number of inspectors that are being sent through the Dominion on inspection work in connexion with hospitals. The Board-is of opinion that much public money could be saved to the Dominion by curtailing such visits, apdj that the general principle involved. in the recent economy proposals of the Government should be put into practice by the Hospitals Department itself" Tnanga.hna.
