EVASION OF INCOME TAX. (OHITXD PRESS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.) (Received June 7th, 5.8 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 6. News from Chicago reports that the Government, after two years' secret investigation, has secured an indictment against A 1 Capone, the gangster, for an evasion ot payment of income tax amounting to 182,591 dollarSj and other charges sufficient to send him to gaol for 32 years. Federal Treasury operatives examined a thqusand persons to determine the gangster's myriad financial affairs. . Capone surrendered to the authorities latei in the day and was released on 50,000 dollars bail.
