The Prime Minister, Mr 11. B. Bennett, who is here attending the funeral of Cardinal Rouleau, announced to-day that the session of tho Imperial Conference scheduled for Ottawa in August had been adjourned and that an official statement would bo ruado in Parliament on Monday. Ho said the conference had been postponed because of pending elections in Australia and Now Zealand, which would prevent delegates from these countries attending during the autumn of this year. No date had been set for a renewal of discussions, but it would likely be in the beginning of next year.
