REFORM LEADER.
VISIT TO ASHBURTON.
The Leader of the Opposition ' (the Et, Hon. J. G. Coates) will to-day pay a visit to Ashhurton. ' '
He will leave Christchurch by car at 10 a.m., accompanied by the Reform member for the district, Mr David Jones. Mr Coates will lunch at the County Club and address, a public meeting in Ashhurton at 2.15 p.m. Accompanied by members of the executive of the women's auxiliary of J~ e Party, Mrs Coates will visit iiaituna and Little River. She will deliver an address at Little River, the Hon. Sir Heaton Rhodes, M.L.C., taking the chair. ' . 6
Mr Coatea will return to Christchureh by ear, and he and Mrs Coatea will l! av ® J? their retu m to Wellington by the 7.10 p.m. train for Lyttelton.
