Ministers' Association a committee was appointed to co-operate with, the Chris-, tian' .Endeavour Societies and other youth movements in preparation for this very brief visit. Us. -Poland, who is on his way to a great congress in Sydney, by mean® of aeroplane, will Speak at,four evening gatherings, including one in- Dunedin and one in Christchurch. Dr.' Poland, is outstanding leader in America of workers among the young and the prohibitum, movement. He -is relinquishing th«r pastorate of the -Marble Collegiate Church in New York,, said to be the-, oldest Protestant Church in North America, in order to devote Himself to the interests of the 5,000,000 ers in the world. He is the successor of Dr.. Francis E. dark, the founder of the movement. _ On Saturday afternoon the ,Eev- -A. NT. Scotter, 8.A., presided over a meeting of workers in the Cambridge Terrace Methodist Church, and. it was decided to organise , a general rally of Christian for June 16th to awaken interest in the coming of Dr. Poland.
