There is every prospect that a. keen political controversy will take place on the fiscal qmSstion during the next few months. 1 A convention of Liberal Party dele- | gates' will bp held in London tomorrow to consider plans for a campaign throughout llie country in favour of Free' Trade. It is stated: that before the end of the year 10,000 meetings will be addressed by- Liberals on this subject in various parts tff tbe country. . . , , . The Conservatives also have planivea an intensive campaign, and the leader of the Party, Mr Baldwin, will address four-meetings in June, while Mr Neville Chamberlain, Sir Austen Cham-, berlain, Lord Hails ham, Sir Arthur Steel-Maitland, Mr Winston' Churchill, and several other: prominent members have arranged to take part.
