STABLE DESTROYED.

— ' Fire- destroyed a two-stall stable ■ at» 53 Harper street, Sydenham, last even- ' ing. Two sets of harness and a quantity of empty cement bags, which, were "in the' building, were also destroyed. The cause.of the fire is not known, •everything being in order, when the stable was left at five o'clock. Two horses were in the stabler yard , at the time of the fire. The Central Fire Brigade received the call at 6.20 °TheMrtable, which was an old building "t the back of a house, was owned bt Mrs E. E. Gemmell. and used by Mr E. Hazeldine, of 52* Carlylo street.
