A sum of about £90,000 is available for cultural and welfare purposes out of the receipts from the Ober-Am-mergau Passion Play, held last summer, according to the official balance-sheet. The sale of tickets realised £-50,000, and that of pictures and books a further £25,000, making £373,000 in all.
