LABOUR PARTY.

MEETING AT KAIAPOI. . A meeting organised by the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Kaiapoi, last evening, air C. Morgan Williams presiding. There was a large attendance of the public. The moeting was addressed by Messrs D. G. Sullivan, M.P. (Mayor of Christchurch ),Mr H. C. Revell, official Labour candidate for the Kaiapoi seat, Mr G. Thurston, Labour candidate for Iticearton, and Mr T. H. Butterflold. • Mr Sullivan' outlined Labour's attitude towards wages reduction and the stops that the Paity would take, if elected, to overcome the effects of the depression in New Zealand. He asserted that New Zealand was going to have a Labour - Government following the next election. The addresses of the other speakers were along similar lines.
