"Red Flag," sung in front of the Domain grandstand and the Soviet 'flag borne ■ throdgb: Queen street were features of a Labour demonstra* tion. held in Auckland to-day to protest against the proposed wage reductions. The gathering, which had been arranged by the Auckland Labour organisations, consisted of a procession and open-air meeting, at which a motion was carried approving the resolutions of the industrial conference lately held by the Alliance of Labour, and pledging co-operation "in giving | effect to them.
