Joseph'with two guards. ,- A Jarge number of xSfitnes charged against Burke, including halt a dozen murders. besides the Chicago massacre, and robberies totalling one million dollars.' . [Two automobile loads of gangsters raided a garage in Chicago, where a caHage company had its headquarters, and seven employees. The roar of shots' was so great, that persons in the vicinity thought on. explosion had occurred. The . victims were shot down without being given a chance to defend thems'elves. The outrage was regarded by the police as ian outgrowth of the so-called "beer i war."
