The Court added ' that the ground to the east of Newton King wharf ought to be swept. HARBOUR STATISTICS. (press association telegram.) WELLINGTON, March 26. < The annual report of the Wellington Harbour Board fpr the year ended September 30th last, states that the net surplus of the year's working amounted to £31,208. lieceipts amounted to £484,340, a decrease of £13,573. In expenditure there was a decrease of £14,499; There was a ' moderate increase in the total trade of the port and a record tonnage of shipping arrivals. Approximately 34 per cent, of the total imports and 25 per, cent, of the total exports of the dominion passed through Wellington.
