A GIGANTIC TASK. (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS,) RUGBY. February 8. The British census, which is fixed lor April 26th, ■ will, occupy the attention of between 12,000,'000 and 18,000.. (*OO householders. Engaged on tho compilation will be 1800 local registrars, 40.000 numerators, and a headquarters staff of about ,500. All will be bound to secrecy about tho particulars given on the papers. The returns will be counted by remarkable machines, -which will work with great, rapidity.
