PHILLIPSTOWN SCHOOL COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Phillipstown School Committee was held at the school, Mr Jefferies presiding. After transacting formal business the committee adlourned, and a combined meeting ot the committee and fair workers was held. The secretary reported upon the arrangements made in connexion with the fair, and the various stall-holders reported that matters in connexion with their respective stalls were well in hand. It was decided to hold the l>aby show at 3 p.m., and fancy dress parade at 7 p.m. Mr Crew offered to give a "mystery parcel," and the Phillipstown Swimming Club undertook to control several of the side shows.
