CYCLING
MEETING AT NEW BRIGHTON. At a meeting of cyclists at Now Brighton last evening Mr A. Branch presided over a good attendance. After discussion it was unanimously decided to form a club, to be called the New Brighton Amateur Cycling Club. Tho election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.; president, Mr A. W. Owles; vice-presidents, Drs. W. E. Stevens and Glasgow, Messrs J. Nuttall, A. M. Chivers, C. J. F. Allen, M. P. Corliss, J. 11. Shaw, F. Patterson, J. McCreanor, F. D. Muirson. L. W. Hudson, and W. L. Taylor; hon. secretary, Mr H. J. Savage; hon. treasurer, Mr A. Branch; committee, Messrs H. Fisher, E. Crysell, G. Gowan. 11. Basher, G Rhodes, and B. Parkin; club captain, Mr J. Wilson; deputy-captain, Mr A. Branch. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Christchurch Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A.
