ST. JAMES' THEATRE.
The picture at present showing as St. Juraefl' Theatre is "Second Choice." In this Dolores Costollo prove* herself to be one of tho few screen stars who can really act. The production is good and the sound particularly clear "TIGER ROSE-*-" against natural backgrounds o' tho wilds, that have seldom been equalled, "Tiger Roee," the thrilling photo-drama ■whioh is th# big feature of the new programme commencing' at the St. James' Theatre to-morrow, is the last word in entertainment. That the talking screen can enhance the entertainment value o£ a stage play is amply demonstrated by this picturo, which w»s made from the famous melodrama that was staged here some years ago. "Tiger Rose" is a splendid story of love and adventure, well played by a caet of capable actors, each one convincing and sure. The wtory ia excellent material for the talking screen. TLfa cast is well chosen. Monte Blue plays the role of Sergeant Devlin, of the NorthWest Mounted Police, and is co-starred with tho fascinating Lupe Veles, who playe the wild, untamed Roee.
