ACCIDENTS.

MOTORIST INJURED. Cyril E. Burgess was injured on Saturday evening when a motor-car which ho was -driving along Shirley road struck a telegraph pole. His injuries, although not serious, necessitated his admission to the Christchurch Hospital. MOTOR-CYCLISTS INJURED. Two motor-cyclists were injured in collisions with motor-cars yesterday. James Morrison, a single man, a warder at the Sunnyside Mental Hospital was riding a motor-cycle which collided with a ipotor-car at the corner of Bealey avenue and Fitzgerald avenue at about £>.3o a.m. yesterday. Morrison received head injuries and abrasions to his face, which necessitated his removal to the Christchurch Hospital. His condition is not serious. Frederick James, a married ■ man, residing at Warwick street, Richmond, was riding pillion with Morrison, but- was not seriously injured, and after being treated as an outpatient at the Hospital, was discharged. Another motor-cyclist, J. Whitmore, aged 22, residing at the Sydenham Fire Station, with a motor-car at the corner of Moorhouse avenue and Colombo streets at about 2 p.m. yesterday. He received an injury to an ankle, and was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Charles Ball, of the Central Tire Station, was riding with Whitmore, but was not seriously in l jured, and was discharged from the Hospital after treatment. CHILD DROWNED. (7&SSB ASSOCIATION TKLIGBAJI.) PAHIATTJA, November 15. Ivan Johnstone, the four-year-old son of James Wm. Johnstone, was drowned through falling into the flooded Mangaramarama creek, while playing with an elder brother. 4 ROWING BOAT CAPSIZES. IP&KSV ASSOCIATION T*L*OBAM.I AUCKLAND. November 16. A rowing skiff belonging to the Waitemata Club capsized in the harbour this morning during boistero.us weather. Four men and a boy were on board. The vehicular ferry steamer and a fishing launch were near and quickly rescued the crew, and the skiff was towed to the club's shed.
