FOR THE MOTOR PICNIC.
DISPLAY OF HAMPERS AND BASKETWARE AT SHOW GROUNDS. In these days when nearly everyone motors, and when almost all motorists indulge in picnics, the question of a suitable hamper very often arises. At the Christchurch Rotary. Club's tent en the Aldington Show Grounds tomorrow and on Friday motorists will iind displayed a great variety of picnic hampers made! by inmates or the J übilee Institute lor the Blind, Auckland, which will repay inspection, and I'i'om which they will be able to select something to their liking. Not only the motorist but uiany other users of basketware will find much to interest them in the display, which includes baskets of every description suitable for almost every conceivable purpose. Excellent workmanship, novelty of design, and reasonableness in price will be found to be outstanding features of the exhibits. A quantity, of the knitted sox for which the Institute has gained a wide and favourable reputation also will be on -sale.
As in past years, ihe Rotary Club's tent (which will be in charge of Kotarian C. E. Jones) will be found on the right hand side of the avenue leading from the Lincoln road entrance to the Addington Show Grounds.
