THE TALLEST MAN.

TWO SHOW ATTRACTIONS. • ■ Visitors to the Spring Show this week will have an opportunity of bceing, in "Side-show Alley," two extraordinary men. One, Johan Aasen, claims to be the world's tallest man, and the other, Cha*rles Zimmy, ia legless, but is a good swimmer, and holds the "world's record for remaining: under water . Aaaen's height is Bft 9£in, and his "weight is 34 stone. He takes an 8J hat, wears a 19$ hi collar, and walks in size 20 boot 9. For a number of years he has lived in Los Angeles, appearing in various pictures. Originally he came from Sweden, and he is a champion mouth-organ player. He possesses many of these instruments, and is particularly proud of on<?, which, one inch long, has a complete range. In every respect Aasen is & larse man, and his index finger alone is so. broad that a two-shilling piece- easily drops through a gold ring that he wears. Ziramy, the famous legless swimmer, eats, drinks, and smokes in a, huge glass tank which is filled with -water. Apart from the interest of these feats, he is a remarkable example of a man who has triumphed over the worst kind of adversity. For means of locomotion he has strapped to his trunk a pair of roller skates, and with these he manages to push himself ovat the ground.
