Particular attention is- called to the advertisement in this issue, altering the date of the opening of tho box office to Thursday (to-morrow), li)th inst., owing to i'riday being a holiday.
The concert on the J9th will prove extremely interesting to lovers of music from the fact of the performance by soloist chorus, and orchestra, of Mr Arthur Lilly's work "Life." The second portion of the programme will consist of "Cavalleria Uusticana," which will not be broadcasted The soloists are Mrs C. Tait, Miss' Merle Miller, Mr Ernest Rogers, and Mr R J Laurenson, all artists who will assist in making tlie performance one of note.
