The Christchureh airman Oscar Garden, who arrived here yesterday in the course of his flight from Britain to Australia,. went on to-day to Sourabaya, where he arrived" at 10.40 a.m. He left at 11.15 for Bima. Mr Garden left England on October 17tb. ATLANTIC FLIGHT. WEATHER DELAYS GERMAN ATTEMPT. BERLIN, November 2. Everything was in readiness for the flight of the Dornier Do X to Southampton, when it was suddenly cancelled owing to the weather. Arrangements have been made to alight in the Atlantic midway between the Azores and Bermuda to refuel from a petrol ship.
