The increasing utility of commercial aviation in New Zealand is convincingly demonstrated by Mr A. D. Short, a judge of Shorthorns, who, in order to carry ont judging engagements at the Gisborne and Blenheim Shows, chartered an aeroplane. Without this rapid means of transport it would have been impossible for Mr Short to have included both Shows.
