(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) HAMILTON, October 31. "Patrons must be -protected from larrikins of this type," said Mr F. H. Levien, S.M., in the Huntly Magistate's Court to-day when Robert Williamson, of Pukekopia, was sentenced to one year's reformative detention on a charge of assault at a dance. It was shown that defendant, who entered into an argument with another man, drew a knife and stabbed his companion in the hand. Defendant was under the influence of liquor, and,had been before the Court previously for a similar offence.
