RIFLE SHOOTING.

ST. ANDREWS. As a wind-up for the season the St. An drews Miniature Rifle Club held a triangular shoot in the Hall on Thursday evening, the visiting clubs being Makilcihi and Pareora. The -natch resulted in a draw for Pareora and St. Andrews, with a total score of 764 each, ilakikilii scoring 749. The follow ing represented the different clubs:— Pareora—R. Heans 79, R. Munro 78, W. Heans 77, L. Howard 77, L. Sullivan 77, E Brehaut 77, O. Longman 76, E. Sinclair 75, M, Brian 74, J. Douglas 74, R. Hawes 70, P Cootes 72. Makikihi—W. Gorinski 78, G. Park 77, H. Shea 77, W. Goodcve 76, T. Park 76, P. Eraffla 76, A. Craig 75, D. McDonald 72, J. Lynch 71, H. Smith 71, H. Oaird 70, J. Quinn 68. St. Andrews—W. Cague 79, T. Lysaght 79, H. Pugh 78. E. Thomas 77, L. Galletly 77. J. Gray 76, I. McDuft 76. G. Hopkins 75, E. D. Hoskin 74. J. Lysaght 73. R. Russell 73, G. Smith 70. The winners of the St. Andrews Club's aggregate prizes were:—W. Cague (on target) 1; G. Smith, sen., handicap, 1. WOODBURY CLUB. The local miniature rifle club heid their final shoot for the season on Monday evening. Mr S. C. Chisnall's trophy was shot for and won by Mr J. Shaw with 80 off the rifle. Captain K. M. Burdon'a cup for snapsl'OOting at a disappearing target, was won by G. Cain. Mr F. R. Flatman's shield for the beat dverage for twenty nights' shooting by a member, of the club, waa won by G. Cain with an 1 average of 78.75. H Wooding was the next bast with ari average of 78.55 Mr T. D. Burnett's trophy for the best average for the season for members undor 21 years of age, resulted in B. Fersrußßon and K. Loach being equal with 74.64, and they divided Biat and seoond prizes respectively. The club hold their anunal dance and presentation of trophies on Tuesday evening when Sinclair's Orchestra will supply the music.
