British Government securities, which rose further on the London Stock Exchange yesterday, remained steady today. The £2,000,000,000 5 per cent. War Loan stock attained the highest price ever yet recorded, at £lO4 8s 9d per £IOO of stock, while the 5 per cent. Conversion Loan was at £lO5 17s 6d per £IOO. HORSE SALE. Messrs. H. IMntson and Co. report on their weekly sale in Tattersall's on Saturday morning- as follows: There was a good entry, which comprised mostly aged draughts. Tho demand throughout the sale was noticeably keen, and 10(> per cent, of sales was recorded. The main part of the entry was comprised of horses in from the country, and although some were rather rough in condition, they changed hands at most satisfactory prices.
