OXFORD TOWN HALL.
TENDERS CALLED. Plans hare been prepared by Mr H. St. A. 51 virear, architect, for a Town ; Hall at Oxford, and tenders are now being invited for the work of erection. The structure will be built on a site nearly opposite the Post Office. It will be ol : concrete, with-an auditorium 50 feet by 40, a stage 21 feet wide, and a small gallery which wiir accommodate about 100 people. The hall , nil] be entered by a porch which will be erected in honour of Oxford men who fought in the Great War. It will admit to. an entrance hall with a ticket box, and to the sides, women's and men's cloakrooms. At the other end of the building will be ■:i supper room, which will «.lso be used as an office for the Oxford A. and P. Association, and at the back of the stage a dressing room and kitchen. A loan of £4OOO has been authorised for the building. .
