The Maheno arrived at Bluff yesterday from Melbourne, and is due here, via Dunedm, on Thursday. She is to 'sail in the ■afternoon for Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne.

The Maunganui is due at Wellington this morning from Sydney, and is to eail on the return trip to-morrow.

The Foxton sailed yesterday for. Foxton, and is due back on Thursday to'load for the same port.

The-A. and A. Line steamer Pipiriki was due at Auckland last night from New York. She will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dnnedin, and Sydney. The. News has been received by the Union Company that theT'Waikouaiti, from New-castle-and Port-Stephens; left Sydney at 5 p.m. on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttolton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. She Is due at Wellington to-morrgw, and at Lyttelton on Thursday. The Federal Company has received a message from the Hertford, en route from Liverpool, reporting that she expect? to reach Auckland at daybreak to-morrow. .She will later proceed to Napier, Wellington,. Lyttelton. Dunedin. and New Plymouth, to complete dischargo. . The Union Company's Karetu is to leave Auckland this week for Newcastle and Sydney. . The vessel is being commissioned in the 'Atistralia, Aucjcland service. ; She is .scheduled to sail from Sydney on October 2nd for Lautoka, Suva. Levukn. and Auckland.
