CRUDE OIL FUEL.

FLEET OP LONDON BUSES.

(rSITEU PHBSB ASSOCIATION—B? XMCTBIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.)

(Received September 21st, 5.5 p.m.) ...LONDON, September 20.

A fleet of one hundred buses, which will shortly be running in London streets and which will be driven by crude oil engines, represents the most serious challenge to the supremacy of petrol yet made in any country. This oil gives a greater mileage per gallon and is cheaper than the cheapest petrol. The engine runs on neither the carburettor nor the'electrical ignition systems, and the risk of fire is eliminated.
