No doubt exhibitors from .the South-Island will appreciate the Royal Society's .decision to pay steamer freight from Lyttelton ;to Wellington, and breeders of Friesian cattle will appreciate the offer of the Friesian Association to pay three-fourths of the freight and steamer charges on cattle • belonging . to' members of that Association.
