The report of the health organisation of the League of Nations was presented by Miss Snsah Lawrence, Parliamentary Secretary to the British Health Ministry, to the Second Committee of the League at Geneva to-day, the unanimously., adopted. > Miss Lawrence particularly mentioned the great progress made in children's health in Great Britain by the school regime and the benefits ot the £tudy of tropical medicine. • The League Council to-day fixed the conference on the limitation of manufacture of opium for May 27th next. It will be preceded by a conference of Manufacturing States in London on October 27th, arid the League's Opium Committee on January 9th.
