The marooning and rescuo of Professor Gould's geological party in the Rookefellcr Mountains; the discovery of new land, the daily life of thoso forty-two wen at "Little America." Pictures liko this are so much more enthralling than any story that man could write. It is a story of tremendous patience, heroism, and selfsacrifice. It is not only the record of a great undertaking, but it is also the story of those voluntary exiles who lived a lifetime In those twenty months they spent "With Byrd at the South Pole."
