DESTRUCTION OF DEER.
(PEESS ASSOCIATIOU TELEQP.AM.) WELLINGTON, September 17. A conference of the principal officers of the Lands, Forestry, Agriculture and Internal Affairs Departments took place this morning for the purpose of considering the question of the destruction of deer. It was an nounced subsequently that certain conclusions were arrived at, and they will be submitted to the Minister for Internal Affairs for his consideration.
